PROJECT AMOR
Offering hope and a future in southern Spain
Coming in Waves
Spain continues to see the arrival of often-destitute North African immigrants and Sub-Saharan refugees and immigrants. One particular at-risk demographic is the focus of the A.M.O.R. project: Unaccompanied minors.

These young men arrive after life-threatening journeys and have been exposed to experiences that most of us could only imagine along the way. Their trauma experiences are enormous. They are experienced beyond their years, yet remain vastly unprepared for adulthood in Spain
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) here in Spain has identified minors aging out of assistance as the top need and priority in our immigrant/refugee community. Project A.M.O.R. works to meet that need.

We provide support in all areas, from basic needs such as housing and food, to a sense of community, job training, cultural education, and most of all, being part of the A.M.O.R. family. We have a diverse group of people of different ages and stages providing care and support, guidance and development, building futures with hope.
Hope Is Where the Heart Is
Thank you for visiting Project A.M.O.R.! We invite you to take a look at all of the pages and see for yourself what hope can do!
