S

From Morocco, "S" arrived very quiet and reserved. As you can see by his easy smile, he has become much more comfortable. Always friendly (and stylish), he loves to help those around him. He is currently looking for work in a restaurant as he dreams of working as a waiter. Recently he helped write his own résumé to distribute to area restaurants. Here he proudly displays his residency card.

L

From Guinea, L is our oldest participant, quiet but with a highly contagious laugh! He is a gentle leader amongst the young men, hardworking, protective, and shows kindness to all who know him. We have watched him mature and gain confidence and an ease with which he carries himself.

B

Also from Morocco, B arrived at 17 years old. He is now 20 and would like to be a security guard. A talented fútbol (soccer) player, he enjoys playing in a local league. Here he shows off his new residency card. Recently he got to visit his family in Morocco for the first time in three years! What a reunion that must have been. He has grown in wisdom and confidence and joy in these years with A.M.O.R.
